3 Ways to Style A Trench Coat This Fall

It finally started to feel like Fall in L.A. and tis the season for layering. Transitioning from Summer to Fall dressing can be as effortless as adding an outerwear to your outfits. I love a slightly oversized trench coat with structured silhouette. My favorite thing about trench coats is that they easily make an everyday outfit more sophisticated and polished. Being arguably the most versatile wardrobe essential for cooler weather, the options to style trench coats are endless. 1. With Black Leather Pants

I went for an off-duty boss look and styled the L’Academie Trench Coat with the L’Academie Gather Leather Pant and a black tank top. The leather pants originally had ties around the ankle but I ended up removing them and achieved the same gathering look by using the straps of these Song Of Style Nola Heel.

2. Over a Blazer

A neutral, oversized blazer is my Fall wardrobe staple and I’ve been wearing these Anine Bing Kaia Double-breasted Blazer on rotation this Fall. I styled a white t-shirt tucked in with the Anine Bing Kinsley Belted Shorts and a pair of Cariuma All Camel Suede sneakers. I threw on the L’Academie Trench Coat to bring in more layers and make the outfit more sophisticated.

3. With Knit Lounge Set

Matching loungewear are my go-to’s for Fall and especially during quarantine. They are a great no-brainer and comfy alternative to sweatshirts and sweatpants. The Lovers + Friends Mariposa Tank and Pants are cozy and chic to wear both in and outside the house.
