It feels incredibly weird to be posting an #ad during these times but life must go on in the best way we know how! As a homebody and freelancer, working from home, and really just staying in, has been my livelihood pretty much my whole post-college adult life but this time hits different. ⁣ ⁣ Life is slower than ever and it’s hard to even imagine when life will fall back into place like we once knew it, if ever. But like so many of you, this time is about switching things up and being comfortable in the unknown because this moment is unlike anything we’ll experience in our lifetimes. Like how crazy is it that we’re living this out altogether, not as Americans or as New Yorkers, but as citizens of the world. I can only think of the World Cup being the only other single most unifying entity hhahahha. ⁣ ⁣ A lot of you have asked me what keeps me sane. Besides the obvious like cooking, going on walks, making a routine for myself, checking in on friends, consuming new books, podcasts and movies, I’ve also made my bed the safest haven in the world. My bed is suspended high into the sky and mirrors this dream-like state we’re living in, yet it’s the only place I simultaneously feel like a silent hero (everyone who is quarantining is one!) and a lil slug. Thank you @brooklinen for helping me cultivate this space!!!!! (And yes, that airplane is for real) #brooklinen #mybrooklinenstyle
