The Jet Set Guide: The beauty products I never travel without

It’s no secret that I travel a lot, and even though I love it, traveling can definitely feel like work. Luckily, I’ve picked up a few tips and tricks (and favorite products) along the way that will help ease your traveling woes and make your next trip a seamless experience.

SKINCARE

Because I have eczema, I have to pay extra attention to my skin when I’m traveling. It’s so easy for my skin to get super dry, so I always have a few of my favorite products on hand.

Plus, in this travel pack, you get a sample size of all of my favorite products: their
squalane oil face wash (which simultaneously moisturizes and cleanses), their Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Face Oil (one of my all-time favorite products that is essential for fighting free radicals), their peptide-infused eye cream (which always almost instantly improves any eye puffiness I may get from traveling), and their phyto-retinol serum (which reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles). The Love Your Face Kit is almost too good to be true! This is the perfect gift for the jet setter in your life this holiday season. Also, it’s just a great way to try out Biossance and experience four of their different products if you feel like getting a gift for yourself.

I like to take advantage of my time on the plane and catch up on some sleep. But sleeping comfortably on a plane can be difficult when flying for long hours, so having a silk face mask can make all the difference when it comes to sleeping comfortably. I love this pink leopard eye mask from Net-a-Porter, and these silk eye masks from Etsy.

Another great product for staying moisturized while flying is Summer Fridays’ Jet Lag Mask. You’ve probably seen this mask all over Instagram, and for good reason. It’s made from totally clean ingredients, and it’s designed to deliver super high quality hydration.
When traveling, I also like to make sure my hands stay hydrated. I love this Argan Infinity Cream by Josie Maran. It’s the perfect size to travel with, and the ingredients are so pure and high quality.
Laura Mercier Rose Oil is another one of my go-to product. I like to apply a heavy layer of this oil on my face so it can keep my skin hydrated during the flight.

PACKING TIPS

Also, since I’ve been traveling pretty steadily for so many years now, I’ve learned a few important things that make the whole process so much easier:

1. Always roll your clothes as tightly as you can so you can fit as much into your suitcase as possible. Away makes the perfect carry-on for easy and efficient travel.

2. Put all of your shoes and handbags into dust bags so they stay clean and organized

3. Carry your most expensive items with you in your purse and carry on.

4. Keep everything organized by putting your essentials in their own separate little bag in your carry on. That way, it’s easier to find everything you need right away! I tuck all of my travel-sized beauty products into my customized makeup bag by The Daily Edited. I also love this CALPAK hardshell makeup case. Hardshell cases add extra protection to your products when you’re traveling, and are extra protective if any of your products break or leak.

Of course, I always bring my signature raw bars with me and other healthy snacks like granola and sliced veggies. You can find my raw bar recipe here! I hope this guide is helpful for your next adventure!
