Friday Favorites: My Winter Essentials
One of my favorite things about winter is that I get to wear cozy sweaters for almost every occasion. Lately, I’ve really been into wearing red sweaters because the color really pops. Jewel tones are huge this season, and I love wearing a red statement sweater during the winter when most people tend to stick to neutrals. I love this chunky-knit red sweater from Tularosa, and this cable-knit version from Revolve.
2. Camel Coats
Camel coats are my number one winter staple. They’re chic, classic, and create the perfect silhouette. Plus, when the weather gets cold and it’s time to bundle up, camel coats are my secret weapon that never fail to make me look put together. I love this one from Nanuska, and this super affordable one from Asos. I also really like this teddy version of a camel coat from H&M.
3. Hydrating Makeup
As the weather gets chillier, it’s so easy for our skin to feel dried out. That’s why – in addition to hydrating skincare products – it’s essential to also use hydrating makeup. I love Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer. No other product seamlessly blends with my natural skin tone or leaves me quite as glow-y. I also love this tinted lip and cheek tint by Charlotte Tilbury. It’s such a fun way to add a little something extra to your makeup look.
4. Initial Necklaces
As I’m sure you guys already know, lately I can’t stop wearing gold jewelry. I love wearing initial necklaces because they are such an elegant way to personalize even the most simple looks. I love my Chloe initial pendant, but I also love this super affordable version by Anthropologie.
5. Ankle Boots
Ankle boots are one of my favorite fall and winter staples. This style of boots is great because they actually work to lengthen your legs and create a beautiful silhouette. I also always opt for a heeled version, because they give me more height and elongate my body. I love this croc effect pair by Nanushka; the metal heel is such an unexpected element. I also love this super affordable pair by Mango, and this pair by Sam Edelman.
