Key Trend – Dark Nights 

WGSN’s Dark Nights story has been spotted throughout the season and remains prevalent among some of Paris’s key designers. Looks nod to a tough, brooding mood that makes for a powerfully subversive aesthetic. Head-to-toe black, hardware finishes, leather-clad dressing and strict, svelte pattern cutting defines the story

Key Colour: Hyper Brights

Key Item: Solar Surf

Feeding the need for escapism with an edge of dystopia, we can’t get enough of Acne Studio’s standout solarised prints. Offered in a multitude of colours, they’re a welcome evolution to the success of tie-dye for S/S 21

Key Detail: Cut Out

Now key across all four cities, in Paris the cutout detail moves more definitively towards the waistline, creating a waist-focused silhouette across dresses, jackets and woven tops

 

Key Item – Tunic Set 

Long-over-long tunic sets run through Paris, proving the longevity of this styling. Volume-led bottom-weights such as superwide pants and city shorts also form key silhouettes for comfort-driven tailoring

Key Accessory: Chunky Chains & Padlocks

Pay attention to the oversized padlock as an emerging motif. Also, note the maximalist studs – these will be a key update to earring categories for forthcoming seasons
