The SOS Team’s WFH Outfits That Are Comfy and Chic
We’ve lost track of how many weeks since we started working from home but it’s been long enough for the SOS team to find our own ways to adapt and adjust. Some include a morning caffeine routine, quick lunch recipes, practices to calm our minds and dressing up. Sometimes a good outfit can be a game changer to make you feel put-together.
The weather has been so beautiful in LA that Jacopo and I have been spending a lot of time in my backyard to work, read and relax. This knit dress has been my favorite WFH outfit because it’s so easy and airy that I could do anything in, sitting, lounging, walking around without feeling constrained. Prior to a zoom meeting, I accessorize with a few of my go-to jewelries: gold hoop earrings, chain necklace and the customized necklace with Jacopo’s name. With a few whips of lipstick and a little blush, I’m ready to hop on the video call. When I’m hanging in my backyard, I put on the new Song Of Style Fia Sandal which is super comfortable. I can’t wait to wear it everywhere after quarantine is over.
If you asked for my WFH outfit a few weeks ago, I’d say it’s sweats and a sweater combo day and night but after hitting a quarantine slump, I decided to get dressed again and get back to wearing clothes that actually make me look good and feel better. I picked a pair of baggy jeans that are still comfortable while sitting down for hours and this top has the cutest neckline.
For me, the perfect WFH outfit is a pair of comfy pants with a dressy-ish top. I styled this oversized green linen button-up shirt with a pair of knit pants. These knit pants are the most flattering AND practical pants for sitting all day long at home. I’m saving this look for when quarantine is over and I’ll be going to farmer’s market in this outfit with my vintage silk scarf, net tote and these soon-to-launch Song of Style heels (similar here).
I’m wearing the Brea Sweater over a vintage linen maxi dress. I am always cold in the mornings so I wear the sweater over and then when the day warms up, I tie it around my shoulders. It’s comfy and feels put together for zoom calls and general well being. Plus, I wear white on white year round.
