A Sportier side of Pink
I love exploring the pink palette when it comes to my spring and summer wardrobe. It’s one of the most flattering shades. Picking a bright shade of pink to brighten up athletic and leisure wear will keep your most causal stylings feminine and bold.
For this look, I paired a striped Balenciaga sweatshirt in magenta with chunky embellished Chanel sandals, and a black croc embossed Givenchy purse. A midi skirt can be an unassuming piece to add when elevating a casual look. I wanted to polish the sportswear element of this style with an edgier shoe and bag along with lots of Dannijo bracelets and over sized heart shaped Balenciaga earrings for a rock and roll finish.
As you all know I love layering me some prints and patterns! With so many beautiful bright patterns around, it’s hard to just choose one! Finding two prints that contrast, but work in harmony is a good thing to remember when mixing prints. Stay in the same color scheme, or find two that compliment each other. I like to mix a heavy stripe with something more subdued, a floral or polka dot will add softness to a bold line. When choosing a boxy cut top such as a sweatshirt, jumper, or oversized button up, try pairing it with a more tailored bottom piece. A polka-dot midi skirt is my go to for this look.
