Friday Favorites: 5 things to Get You Ready for the Holiday Season

The holiday season is just around the corner. Here are five of my favorite things to get you ready for this time of year.

1. Blue Midi Dresses
Blue is my favorite color. Right now, I’m really into monochromatic blue looks, because I think blue is such a flattering shade on every skin tone. Here, I’m wearing a Self Portrait blue dress. I also am really into this NBD blue midi dress (super affordable version here), and this blue kimono-style dress from Topshop.

2. World of Style
I’m so excited to share my second book with you guys! It’s called World of Style, and it gives you an inside look behind my favorite Instagram photos across the globe. I share my favorite stories and anecdotes, and my favorite places to eat and my favorite things to do in cities across the world. Plus, it’s a perfect book to get as the weather gets colder, because it can give you inspiration for where you want to travel to next – even while you’re relaxing an staying cozy at home.

3. Metallic Dresses
The holidays are just around the corner, and it’s time to start thinking about the perfect holiday party dresses. I love metallic dresses, especially this purple metallic dress from Retrofete, because they are the perfect statement pieces. 4. Heart-Shaped Earrings

Feminine jewelry like shell necklaces is so in style right now, and heart-shaped earrings are the next big thing! I’m so excited to start wearing this trend. Right now, I’m loving these Brinker & Eliza vintage-inspired heart-shaped earrings, and these pearl heart-shaped earrings from Etsy.

5. Earth Tone-Colored Sweaters
Earth tones and jewel tones are perfect for fall and winter. Plus, everyone loves chunky knit sweaters because they are so cozy.
